What’s already here, what to pack, how newborn sessions run, and how you get gear in the door.
Already in the room
- Painted walls and current furniture on the floor
- Newborn kit — included with the rental
- Lighting equipment — included with the rental
- Wifi, climate, restrooms, changing room
What to bring
- Camera bodies, lenses, cards, batteries
- Your own modifiers if you prefer a specific look
- Client wardrobe, styling, and any extra furniture you need
- Extension cords if you need more than the standard wall circuits
Newborn sessions
- Arrive 30–45 minutes before the family so the nest and wraps are set
- Parents change in the private room — not on the studio floor
- Sanitation: wipe posing surfaces before and after. Wipes and surface cleaner are in the room
- Heat: a space heater is available for newborn sessions on request — do not leave it unattended
Lighting notes
- Window light is available on the street-facing wall
- Stands and modifiers are included with the studio rental
- Pack your own triggers if you bring bodies that need them
- Do not leave powered packs unattended
Parking and load-in
- 2447 Kiesel Avenue, Ogden
- Street and lot parking on the Kiesel Avenue block
- Load-in through the street-level entry at 2447 Kiesel Avenue
- A rolling cart is in the room. Cases stay off the shooting floor during the session
House rules
Keep the room ready for the next shoot and for Copper Nickel Events next door.
- Leave the room as you found it. Trash out. Floors clear.
- No glitter, confetti, smoke, or fog without written OK.
- Food stays off posing surfaces and off the furniture.
- Kids are welcome. They are not left unsupervised on set.
- No nails, tape, or paint on the walls. Clamps and existing hardware only.
- Music at a working volume. The block is shared with Copper Nickel Events.
- Pets only with prior written approval.
- Overtime bills at the hourly rate. Lock up and return access as instructed when your block ends.
